Dinontas Corporation partnered with AT&T Veteran ERG Florida Chapter, Volunteers of America, and the Daily Bread to provide backpacks, clothing, and socks to over 250 Veterans in Brevard County. Dinontas Sources food and clothing from US manufacturers for veterans and the less fortunate and conducts fund raising for shipping costs. We secured one pallet of items that were delivered to the Daily Bread in Brevard County, Florida, where we coordinated with AT&T Veterans ERG and Volunteers of America to assemble the backpacks and then distributed them to Veterans participating in the “James Cole Village” Program which is a Grant & Per Diem (GPD) Program provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless veterans to stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence.
Pallets of items are donated however shipping costs are not. Veterans ERG Florida Chapter donated $600.00 to help pay for shipping costs. In addition, we had over $1,000 donated by AT&T Employees and through Facebook fundraisers. We estimated that the backpacks reached over 250 veterans and possibly more.
