JULY 2020 EVENT RECAP
OCTOBER 2020 EVENT RECAP
Dinontas Corporation has partnered again with AT&T Veterans ERG Florida Chapter to provide backpacks, socks, and hygiene products to veterans in Lakeland, Florida. Dinontas Sources food and clothing from US manufacturers for veterans and the less fortunate and conducts fundraising for shipping costs. 2 pallets were secured for this event that was delivered to the AT&T facility in Lakeland, where volunteers from AT&T and Volunteers of America assembled the backpacks. This event was focused on distributing the backpacks to veterans participating in the "James Cole Village" program, a Grant & Per Diem (GPD) program that provides transitional housing and supportive services to homeless veterans to stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence.
Although pallet items are donated, shipping costs are not. We are grateful to Veterans ERG who donated another $1,400 to help cover the shipping costs for this event. It is estimated that these 2 pallets served over 1000 veterans.
The long-term goal for Dinontas is to help even more veterans across the country by continuing to partner with the National Veterans ERG and Volunteers of America. This will allow us to scale and expand our territory to reach veterans across all of America.
